The Orders are a local, file-based multi-agent system that splits human-sovereign meaning from mechanical execution. The core principle is simple: the human owns the Seed, agents execute within constraints.
The Seed is the document where the writer states the core claim, the stakes, the moral positioning, and the red lines. No agent creates a Seed. No agent modifies a Seed. No agent overrides it. Everything that follows — architecture, drafting, critique, polishing, production — flows from the Seed and is accountable to it.
Why Friction Matters
Most AI writing tools try to remove friction. The Orders are designed to create the right kinds. A Resistance Engine stress-tests every draft through counter-arguments, specificity audits, and logic checks before the human rewrites. A Continuity Auditor verifies the final text hasn’t drifted from its original argument. A House Style Keeper catches the language patterns that homogenize voice.
The friction is the point. It forces the writer to defend the work, sharpen the argument, and make deliberate choices — the same things a good editor does, but systematized and transparent.
Governance
Every agent in the system operates under non-negotiable rules:
- Seed Sovereignty — No agent originates or modifies the core argument
- Moral Position Integrity — No agent softens, hedges, or reverses the writer’s stance without explicit instruction
- No Invented Facts — Gaps are flagged, never fabricated
- Audit Trail — Every output documents what changed, what was assumed, and why
- Red Line Enforcement — Certain constraints are inviolable; agents refuse rather than violate them
- Human Checkpoints — The workflow stops at designated points for human decision-making
The Four Orders
Each Order is a specialized team with a distinct purpose in the workflow:
- Writing Order — Transforms the Seed into polished, publishable work through architecture, drafting, resistance, and refinement
- Academic Order — Evaluates learner artifacts against rubrics, tracks progress, and composes constructive feedback
- Value Capture Order — Plans derivative formats, repurposing strategies, and publication scheduling
- Production Order — Generates finished assets: PDFs, videos, slide decks, and images
